Her quiet place

"Every day we encounter people, circumstances, situations and events that are difficult to deal with. Satisfaction with daily life is not about the absence of these challenging issues, it is out ability to deal with them. Allow life's challenges to be the practice that strengthens your character and will" - Unknown

It seems like just about every day there is someone who is going to piss you off. As I get older I'm finding that I'm much less tolerant of bull shit. I hate the games that people play, the lies that they tell and their willingness to step on your face on their way to the so called top. People say I can be quite the grump. LOL I think that's funny. It took me a long time but over the years I found out who I am and that I'm a valuable person in this world. I may not change the world but I do have a certain ability to make people feel good about themselves and that is a good thing. I guess I just look around at the beauty of this world and the gift of life that we have and when I see the stupid things that people do and say I get irritated and frustrated. Face it. People can be assholes. Sad but true. But the question is how do you handle those situations? I for one can't spend the rest of my life being annoyed and pissed off. Neither can you. Life really is short. We can't let others keep us off of our game. I once heard a preacher say "If the devil can steal your joy then he can have your goods." It seemed like a catch phrase to me at the time but as I get older I see the truth in it. We all work hard for our stuff. Some of us have too much stuff. The point is that if you are pissed off all the time you never have time to enjoy those things that you worked so hard for. It's all about attitude. We have to make adjustments. We can't allow other people to run our lives. I don't have the ability to "make" you mad unless you allow me to. The woman in this image had to get away. She is with her horses and dog. Ahh peace at last for her. She deals with her frustrations by getting away out in nature. This is her zen. Work on finding your zen. It's good for you to do that. I don't know what that is but I still want you to find it. It will do you good. The bastards will always try to get you down. Don't let them. Peace out.
